Yes, Big Red Soda has Red Dye 40 in it. No big surprise. If we were to give this to the real Luna, we’d ever see her again. She’d be in another state by sundown. Liquid Red 40 is way more potent. Gets in your system much more quickly.
We discovered this with Luna’s older sister Nova, who also used to have a sensitivity to it. Makes kids go nuts!
I wonder if all the streakers in the ’70s were on red dye 40…
