Since Eddie Van Halen’s death, I’ve watched a lot of youtube videos about him. He clearly was a master on the guitar. Anyone can see that.
Then I happened to come across a video featuring AC/DC where Bon Scott was rockin’ the bagpipes. The thought occurred to me that, unlike with EVH, it’s kinda hard to tell if someone is a ‘master’ at that ….. um… musical instrument.
I gotta admit, though. It works for AC/DC in “Long Way To The Top”

Fun fact: George Young (brother of Angus) found out that Bon played for his pipe and drum band. Wanted bagpipes in the song. Even though Bon played tattoo; he acquiesced. That’s why he apes Angus’ guitar licks!
Urgh…drums. Tattoo though, has to do with the drum rhythm. Anywho….
